Script OVERVIEW

Following the opening night of her latest smart home creation, CANDY, Charlie, a successful smart home inventor, tragically passes away. However, her spirit manages to enter the apple-shaped device, and she is able to control CANDY with the help of her caretaker, Billie. Together, they set out to uncover the identity of Charlie's murderer, but they stumble upon an unexpected secret.

As Charlie and Billie delve deeper into the investigation, they race against time to catch the killer before it's too late. Will they be able to solve the case and bring justice to Charlie's untimely death?

Writer's Biography

Diana Foronda is an award-winning filmmaker based on Long Island, NY. Throughout her years working in the film industry, she worked as a Set PA for a number of short films, web series, and TV networks including CBS, HGTV, and CNBC. Diana's films and scripts have been placed in various film festivals and screenwriting competitions such as Grove Film Festival, New York Long Island Film Festival, Midnight Films Festival, Academy-Qualifying HollyShorts, Big Apple Film Festival & Screenplay Competition, MicroMania Film Festival, and much more. She is a proud New Yorker and member of Pano, ARRAY Crew, Post New York Alliance, and NYWIFT. She has trained with NYU Tisch/Yellowbrick Film & TV Industry Essentials, Manhattan Edit Workshop, USDAN Summer Camp for the Arts, and holds a BA in Film Studies with Departmental Honors at Hollins University in Roanoke, Virginia.
