Amidst the frenzy surrounding the highly sought-after chicken sandwich, Aja Robinson engages in a rivalry with a conceited colleague to secure the position of the latest manager in their store. In the course of a tumultuous day, the employees are faced with scorching temperatures, voracious customers, irate crowds, and even armed thieves. This critical juncture presents Aja with the opportunity to confront her destiny, her responsibilities as a leader, and the diminishing prospects of the American Dream.
Dawson first discovered his passion for the arts while acting in a stage production of "The Three Musketeers". Encouraged by friends and family, he wrote and directed his first play, "Turbulence", an outlandish one act comedy.
After studying at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in NYC, he returned home to Florida to work in film, theatre, and radio. His most recent projects include "False Shepherd" and the award-winning short film, "Jericho Road".
In addition to writing and acting, Dawson serves as Executive Producer for Antrim Road Productions. Founded in 2019, Antrim Road Productions supports new, innovative approaches to storytelling. Its team embraces an unorthodox vision of storytelling grounded upon inclusiveness, diversity, open collaboration, and aesthetic freedom.
