A youthful pair escape to a rural area to determine the fate of their relationship, whether to continue or call it quits.

The movie has been likened to Alexander Payne's "Sideways," Antonioni's "L'avventura," and Bruce Beresford's "Tender Mercies."

Director Biography

Adam Morris is an Australian novelist living on the south coast of Western Australia. He holds a PhD in Creative Writing and teaches courses on cinema, Shakespeare, Australian literature and creative writing at the University of Western Australia.

He has published two novels, "Bird" and "My Dog Gave Me the Clap" with his third novel "Winter of One Fire" set for release late 2022 by Puncher and Wattmann (NSW).

"Bird" was nominated for the Miles Franklin Award in 2021, Australia's highest literary honor and will be translated into German in 2023 by Nautilus Press (Hamburg). Edward and Isabella is Adam's first feature film.
