Inspired by Roland Barthes' "The Bright Room," this project seeks to visualize the powerful emotions conveyed by the photographs, and in turn, explore the relationship between the subject of the photographs and the artist.
Through this project, the artist aims to delve deeper into the emotional connection that they share with the subjects of the photographs, capturing and expressing the intensity of these feelings through their work. By exploring this relationship and conveying the emotions it evokes, the artist hopes to create a meaningful and impactful visual experience for viewers.
Director Biography
As an experimental video creator, director, and 3D designer, Wanqi Zhang has established himself as a prominent figure in the art and design industry. He is the founder of AA META, a firm specializing in metaverse architecture, and has collaborated with numerous art and fashion brands to create virtual content.
Wanqi's creative expertise extends across a broad range of mediums, including experimental video, short film, photography, 3D sculpture, and theater experiments. Through his innovative work, he seeks to push the boundaries of traditional art and design, creating immersive experiences that engage and captivate audiences. With a focus on experimentation and innovation, Wanqi's work continues to inspire and challenge the status quo.
