During his online search for bookbinding supplies, a middle-aged Hasidic bookbinder comes across a Craigslist advertisement offering "binding lessons for submissive women." Intrigued, he responds to the ad and becomes involved in an emotionally charged BDSM relationship with an unknown person on the internet.
Director Biography
Anika Benkov (writer/director) is an emerging genderfluid filmmaker based in NYC, with a tendency to look for beauty in the bizarre and inspiration in the inexplicable. They are currently co-writing the dark satirical series, 'Park Slope Moms'. Anika received their BA in Creative Writing from Columbia University in 2016, and is currently receiving their MFA in Screenwriting/Directing at Columbia University School of the Arts MFA Program.
