FILM OVERVIEW

Fed up with constant rejection, the provocative artist Sergio De Loof enlists the help of his friends to establish a new cultural hub dubbed "The Guillotine," aiming to secure funds through an auction. However, true to its name, the project falls apart, leaving accusations of fraud in its wake. Undeterred, De Loof decides to channel the raised funds into what will be his final magnum opus: a temporary stay in suite 951 of the iconic Copacabana Palace, a hotel frequented by stars, royalty, and the elite jet-set.

Director Biography

Fernando Portabales is a general producer and director of numerous documentaries, films, concerts, festival recordings, and television programs.

He has directed the TV documentaries: "Ïraq, The War After the War", recorded in the post-Iraqi war; "Amia The Secret Report" (On the terrorist attack against the Mutual Jewish in 1994); "Soda Stereo: The Legend" ( On the mythical Argentine band); “Fiebre Stone” (on the reactions of the public of the Stone concerts in Argentina); “García y Los Enfermeros” (about Charly Garcia, well known argentine rock star), and the series “Volver Rock”, Which won the Martín Fierro award for “Best music program.”
